Our Development Division engages in the R&D on products, services, and technologies that contribute to people’s daily lives, with a focus on home appliances. It aims to achieve a balance between providing more affluent and enjoyable lifestyles and a building a sustainable global environment.
In order to make bathrooms, living rooms, and kitchens more comfortable, we develop products based on the combustion, heat transfer, fluid, IoT, and electronic control technologies that we have cultivated over the years. We also strive to create new value by incorporating advanced technologies in such areas as sensing, network, and AI.
To help realize a low-carbon/decarbonized society, which has become a social issue, we will promote R&D on hydrogen combustion equipment and electrification-compatible equipment while developing energy-efficient and environmentally friendly offerings, such as our ECO ONE hybrid water heaters with heating systems.
For the ever-growing overseas market, we will develop products and technologies that suit local lifestyles in line with the policies of each country. To this end, we will foster global human resources and strengthen cooperation with overseas subsidiaries.
