Product Case Study
Gas clothes dryer RDT-63/RDT-93 Series
Robust appearance as equipment and simple design that harmonizes with the space. Noiseless operation is achieved by placing the door opening/closing handle on the side. The dial-type control panel, which focuses on simple operability and quality, is divided into separate areas for switches and screens, and only the information necessary for settings is displayed for ease of use.
MBC-332VC Series (controllers for water/bathroom heaters and bathtub filler/heaters)
Features horizontal, vertical, flat, noiseless design with minimal necessary elements. The UI display, which is arranged in a regular pattern and with more subdued colors, incorporates an animation that shows the status of the hot water supply. Also emphasized is the sensory quality of touch. The controllers produce new operational sounds and voice guidance, and the switches are easy to operate with a simple touch. They come in white or black to match the indoor environment, and the CMF is a combination of gloss and matte.
Leggiero (waterless cooking pot)
The thin and flat design expresses a feeling of lightness. Our aim was to produce a simple yet high-quality appearance. The shape and dimensions of the body and lid were carefully finished with attention to detail using high machining precision.
Bathroom heater/dryer controller
Functional and simple design that harmonizes with surrounding spaces, such as dressing rooms. Unnecessary lines and flamboyant decorations are nowhere to be seen. The white display is illuminated on a black background to highlight both visibility and stylishness.
G:201 (in-wall oven)
Black glass and stainless steel are used to create a robust yet neat front face design. The LCD touch panel, with a clean design and subdued colors, conveys quality and visual appeal not found in most domestic products. We also took care to avoid visual noise by minimizing printed words and lights on the product.
Micro Bubble Bath Unit
The circulation fittings are made of stainless steel for a simple yet elegant and luxurious look, and the many holes in the hot water intake and exhaust ports form an array of black concentric circles to minimize the feeling of noise. We aimed for a long-life design that can be used for many years, one combining “robustness” (can withstand any environment and not be influenced by fads and fashions) and “simplicity” (can fit in with any lifestyle).
G:101 (domino-style built-in hob (stovetop))
Features a language-free UI design with stainless steel full-surface trivets that exude robustness and solidity. Its “subtle design,” created from an architectural perspective that brings harmony and stability to the room, permeates to the smallest detail. Its presence in the kitchen appeals not only to the space but also to life itself.
