Indicators related to ignition operation
An operating switch becomes stiffer than before.
It takes several tries to ignite the pilot burner of a heater.
The ignition noise is louder than before.
The sparking sound present during ignition becomes more intermittent.
|Actual case||Dust was accumulated on a spark electrode and a burner, which negatively affected burning condition and resulted in abnormal combustions.|

|Actual case||ventilation, and felt sick due to incomplete combustion.|
When using a gas instantaneous hot-water heater, please make sure to ventilate either by using a fan or opening a window.
If a gas instantaneous hot-water heateris repeatedly used in an environment lacking sufficient ventilation, the user may suffer from carbon monoxide poisoning due to incomplete combustion. In the worst case, this could result in a fatality.
|Actual case||Although the battery replacement sign was indicated, a user kept using the equipment, which caused abnormal ignition.|
|Actual case||A small hot-water heater was continuously used to supply hot water to a bath and shower for an excessively long time, causing incomplete combustion.|
