Warning against a fraud

Please exercise caution, as some dishonest door-to-door sales people may take advantage of free inspections and offer charged inspection and parts exchange services. Rinnai conducts inspections after first being contacted by a customer. Rinnai inspection personnel will never visit a customer without having arranged the date and time of the visit with the customer in advance. Moreover, when service personnel from Rinnai or a gas company visit a customer's home, they are required to bring identification.

  • When service personnel visit, please make sure to ask them to present their identification (a certificate of qualifications or license for a gas equipment inspector with a photo).
