Notice Regarding Acquisition of Land Adjacent to Seto Factory
Rinnai Corporation (Head Office: Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture; President: Hiroyasu Naito) has entered into a purchase agreement to acquire land adjacent to its Seto Factory in Seto City, Aichi Prefecture. The acquisition is intended to strengthen the Corporation's production capacity and improve its manufacturing efficiency, particularly for high-efficiency water heaters, in line with its medium-term business plan, "accelerate 2030," launched in April 2026.
In recent years, efforts to achieve a decarbonized society have accelerated worldwide, driving up demand for environmentally friendly water heaters in both Japan and overseas. Furthermore, home appliances are becoming more and more sophisticated amid rising demand for comfort and value-added features. Accordingly, sales of related products made by Rinnai have remained firm. As hybrid water heating systems become more widespread, moreover, demand for high-efficiency water heaters is growing steadily.
In light of these changes in market conditions, the Rinnai Group is expanding its range of water heating solutions, underscoring the need to establish a stable supply system to meet future growth in demand.
