Mr.Kenji Hayashi, Chairman and Representative Director of Rinnai Corporation, has been appointed Honorary Consul of the Consulate of New Zealand in Nagoya, Japan. The consulate represents New Zealand in Japan's Chubu District, covering Aichi, Gifu, Shizuoka, Nagano, Yamanashi, Niigata, Toyama, Ishikawa, and Fukui prefectures.

The appointment ceremony was held on August 30 at Hotel Nagoya Castle (Nishi-ku, Nagoya City), where His Excellency Stephen Payton, New Zealand Ambassador to Japan, officially appointed Mr.Hayashi as New Zealand Honorary Consul in Nagoya.
