Caution
If ignition fails, wait for a while and then try again. If you try again without waiting, there is a possibility that unburned gas will accumulate and cause abnormal ignition. If you notice signs of poor ignition, stop using the product and have it inspected by the manufacturer after confirming that the batteries are not flat. (Potential causes include dust and/or cobwebs clogging up the air intake and exhaust ports, battery drainage, and aging parts.)

Caution
When using a gas instantaneous hot-water heater, please make sure to ventilate either by using a fan or opening a window.
If a gas instantaneous hot-water heateris repeatedly used in an environment lacking sufficient ventilation, the user may suffer from carbon monoxide poisoning due to incomplete combustion. In the worst case, this could result in a fatality.

Caution
The use of rubber for gas piping has been prohibited since 1997. When replacing equipment, also replace the rubber tube (hose end) used in the previous water heater.
